Dedicated to excellent care for patients with movement disorders

The Movement Disorder specialist at The Comprehensive Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorders Program at the University of New Mexico provide expert diagnosis and comprehensive care and management of all movement disorders including Parkinson Disease, atypical Parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, tremor, tics, myoclonus, ataxia and Huntington Disease.



We study the therapeutic potential of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) targeting the dysfunctional premotor-motor brain pathways in dystonia in order to develop a focused treatment to improve symptom control in cervical dystonia.


We are a recruiting site for the Dystonia Coalition Natural History and Biorespository Studies.
